Hi, I'm Alexey.

I'm a software engineer with 12 years of experience building reliable, user-friendly applications. I enjoy releasing new features and connecting with the people who use them — seeing how the work actually makes a difference is the best part of the job.

Day to day I work mostly in Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, and on AWS. I've built everything from payment systems and OAuth 2.0 servers to voice-assistant integrations and Flutter apps for field installers.

Outside of work I play in a rock band called Quantum Fate, co-built a small game called ssgg.fun, and spend a lot of time playing computer games with friends and family.

  1. 2018 — 2025

    Senior Software Engineer · tado° GmbH, Munich

    Built and optimized the installation flow, voice-assistant integrations (Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT), and an OAuth 2.0 authentication server. Led CI & cloud infrastructure on AWS and designed the Flutter-based tado° Professional app for installers.

  2. 2016 — 2018

    Software Developer · RBKmoney, Moscow

    Built an online payment system with a focus on reliability and security. Worked on microservices and infrastructure automation with Docker and SaltStack.

  3. 2016

    Software Developer · Altarix, Moscow

    Developed a government analytics system: microservices and web apps on top of Java/Spring, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and RabbitMQ. Sped up the internal search engine significantly.

  4. 2013 — 2016

    Software Developer / Team Lead · Lanit, Moscow

    Led the development of large-scale, nationwide information systems. Mentored the team, ran MVPs and tech evaluations, defined APIs for external services.
